Control clock DigiTimer
The Rauscher DigiTimer is a fully electronic, microprocessor-controlled quartz master clock that meets the highest demands when it comes to controlling tower clocks and bell systems. By using a touchscreen, we have achieved maximum ease of use. The watch is rounded off by a USB slot. This enables program exchange with a PC. PC software for maintaining the data is supplied by us. We would be happy to send you this PC program on request. Thanks to radio synchronization, it is no longer necessary to adjust or change over.
Restoration of the astronomical clock for the German Museum in Munich
The astronomical clock in the courtyard of the German Museum consists of a dial ring with a diameter of 6.6 m, a 1 meter wide ring with copper animal circle signs, an inner dial for the seconds and one for the weekdays with a diameter of about 3 m. We deinstalled and installed the complete clock and needed several thousand folios of gold during the renovation.
We are very pleased and proud that we were able to renovate the historically unique astronomical tower clock from 1940 with display of moon phase, hour, minute, second, year display (constellations) and weekday display for the German Museum.
The photos show the dismantling, the investigation of the colors, the work in our workshops, the renovated drive of the weekday display and the fully installed clock.
